Application for the Title and the European Supplement to the Title
General information
Once the studies have been approved and the necessary requirements have been achieved, the corresponding official university degree and the European diploma supplement (SET) can be requested.
It is important for foreign students to record the application for the diploma in the SIAE even if they do not have the academic record closed.
The European title supplement (SET) is a document that provides information on the title obtained by describing its nature, level, context and content. The SET is issued in Catalan, Spanish and English and facilitates the academic and professional recognition of graduates in the European territory in order to facilitate their academic and professional mobility between universities and the labor markets of the respective countries.
How to request the Title and the SET:
Once you have the file closed, and the e-secretary to the state of the file appears as "entitled" you can apply for the title and the SET.

Documentation:
- Original and photocopy of the current ID or passport (no other identification is accepted).
- In the case of foreign students, original and photocopy of the valid passport.
Price:
You must pay the corresponding official credit card fee to the SIAE, through the Internet through the e-Secretariat or at any office of La Caixa, Caixa d'Enginyers or Banco Santander.

Presencial application
- The person interested must attend the SIAE in order to check the application data and sign the document that is generated. The personal data must appear as they appear in the DNI (or passport).
- If the request is made by an authorized person, he must provide the authorization document with the original signature of the person interested and the photocopy of the valid DNI, both of the person interested and of the authorized person. The SIAE will provide the authorized person with the request for an expedition to send it to the applicant so that it can be reviewed and signed. It is imperative that the application bears the original signature of the interested party (the photocopied or scanned signatures are not valid).
- Subscription of the application for title and SET: Once the fee has been paid and the payment receipt has been returned, SIAE will be given to the person interested or authorized to receive the official title and / or SET. This reservation has the same validity as the original title while the latter is in the process of being issued. To obtain the title certificate so that it can be legalized, you must apply for the certificate of title in process.
Application on-line:
In the case of people residing outside of the province of Barcelona you can request the sending of the certificate receipt to the address indicated in the application.
- The interested party must request the online DemanaUPC-ETSEIB online support service with your student profile and fill out the application document that will be attached to them and pay the corresponding fee.
- You must send the documentation and the payment receipt by ordinary together with a photocopy of the valid DNI (in case of persons with Spanish nationality) or of the passport (in case of persons with foreign nationality). It is imperative that the application bears the original signature of the interested party (the scanned or photocopied signatures are not valid).
- Once the receipt of payment and the application have been received, the process of applying for the title will be initiated and the title and / or SET receipt will be issued.
- Finally, the SIAE will send you the receipt of the title directly to the address indicated in the request to issue the certificate.
