In order to perform an exchange program at the ETSEIB, there must be a bilateral agreement within the ETSEIB and your home university.

Erasmus + studies KA131


Area

European Union + Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Turkey and Serbia. 

Accreditation

At the end of this period, the university of origin recognizes academically the accomplished studies. 

  • Rules
  •  Have a European Union nationality or a residence permit.
  •  Be an ordinary student of an official academic title of one of the universities which have signed the Erasmus+ University Letter.
    •  It is only allowed to accomplish one stay abroad.
  •  Pass the first year of the home studies.

SMILE-MAGALHAES/CINDA

Area

Europe and Latin America

The SMILE-Magalhaes net and the CINDA net want to develop a superior education joint space between Europe and Latin America.

The ETSEIB has specific agreements with several universities which allow the accomplishment of exchange periods with academic objectives.

The CINDA program has a specific request form and calendar.


UPC-BarcelonaTech International

Area

China, Canada, EUA, Japan

The UPC can sign specific agreements on academic cooperation with institutions of other countries. 

The students of the ETSEIB can carry out exchanges with this institutions through specific bilateral agreements.


UNITECH

UNITECH is an international organization that places engineering students form several top European universities with companies in the industry.

The program enables good students to complement their engineering studies by gaining academic, professional and personal experience at an international level.


SICUE

Area: Spain

SICUE is a mobility program thought for those students that want to carry out academic stays in other Spanish universities. 

By means of this program, students can study part of their degree in another autonomous community with the guarantee that there will be an academic recognition and that their curricular profile will be adequate.


Academic exchange

A valid bilateral agreement must exist between ETSEIB and the home university

Students must be officially nominated by their home university

Students must receive an email from ETSEIB International Relations Office inviting them to apply


Length of the exchange

  One semester

- Autumn semester  (from September to January)

- Spring semester (from February to June)

  Full academic year (Autumn semester and Spring semester)

  Double degree


Academic workload

Academic workload must be between 15 and 30 ECTS per semester.

It can consist of:

  Courses

  Research assignment for exchange students (15 ECTS)

  Final Degree Project or Master's Thesis (30 ECTS) - Restricted to Modality A

Students must choose ETSEIB courses depending on their previous academic background and their qualifications.

Availability of places is limited in all courses


Language requirements 

English
Minimum level required B1 (No certificate needed). 
Only double degree students must have a Certificate of B2 English level
Spanish
We strongly recommend that students have a good B1 level (No certificate needed)

  No tuition fees are payable by exchage students studying at the ETSEIB through Erasmus or bilateral agreements

Procedure

  Students should contact their home university to be nominated

  Nominations can only be submitted by partners universities that have current exchange or double degree agreements

  The submission is via the ETSEIB Nomination Form

  To obtain the nomination link, partners should contact ETSEIB International Relations Office at incoming.etseib@upc.edu

  Only nominations submitted through the ETSEIB Nomination Form will be accepted.

  Once the nomination is processed, nominated students will receive an email with detailed information about the application process
