Application

In order to perform an exchange program at the ETSEIB, there must be a bilateral agreement within the ETSEIB and your home university.

Application

Fill in the on-line application form following the instructions that you will find in the links on this page. Please attach:
  • Nomination letter of your home institution
  • Transcript of records of your current studies
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Bachelor's degree (only double degree candidates)
  • Certificate of B2 English level (only double degree candidates)

 

Applications after deadline or incompleted will be rejected

 

Academic workload

Exchange students need to perform within 15 ECTS and 30 ECTS per semester. It can be:
  • Courses - the list of elegible courses is in the links on this page
  • Final Degree Project or Master's Thesis - 30 ECTS
  • Research Assignment for exchange students - 15 ECTS
Students must choose ETSEIB courses depending on their previous academic background and their qualifications.

The approval of this learning agreement is conditioned to the availability of places of the courses requested. It will be definetly confirmed at your arrival, after the enrolment.

Requirements

 

Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering

  1. Bachelor Engineering
  2. Previous knowledge in the field of the course
  3. Availability of places limited in some courses

Other Master's degrees

  1. Previous knowledge in the field of the course
  2. Availability of places limited in some courses


Admission

You can check your application status through the online application system. Please remember:

  • Pending: the application is not corrected or is processing
  • Validated: the application has been checked and is ok
  • Admitted: the student has been admited and he/she can perform the exchange

We strongly recommend that students have a good level of Spanish or Catalan.

 

Visa

In the case that the admitted student need to apply for a student visa, the International Office will send you an admission letter.

 

Dates of arrival at the ETSEIB

Admitted students must arrive at the ETSEIB one week before lectures start in order to attend to the welcome meetings (Welcome week). The assistance to the Welcome week is mandatory. See the academic calendar in the links on this page.

Welcome Week dates:

  • Autumn semester: first week of September
  • Spring semester: first week of February

 

The ETSEIB reserves the right not to admit any student who arrives 15 days after the beginning of lectures.

Online application

  • Autumn semester
    (Sep. 2024 - Jan. 2025): from 1 April to 1 June 2024

  • Spring semester
    (Feb.- Jun. 2025): from 15 October to 1 December 2024
