L'exalumne de l'ETSEIB i president d'UPC Alumni Costa Oest, Sergio Gago-Masagué farà una xerrada destinada a l'estudiantat i professorat de grau interessats en les aplicacions de l'Internet de les coses.
- Títol: “Smart Spaces, Challenges and Opportunities”
- Smart spaces are characterized by the presence of interconnected components, including Internet of Things (IoT) devices, smartphones, sensors, and edge devices, that work together to create novel application services of benefit to individuals and organizations such as in-home health, smart manufacturing, and emergency response. Smart spaces are envisioned to utilize available resources efficiently and effectively in a space to create application-level services. However, the adoption of these systems faces many challenges, for example, security and privacy, robustness, efficiency, interoperability, and reusability.
- Target audience: Graduate and undergraduate students and faculty interested in applications of the Internet of Things.
