  • Title: Noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) in the automotive industry

  • Abstract: NVH is one of the most transversal disciplines in the automotive field (among many others) and that has gained more relevance in the last years, especially since the incorporation of electric vehicles in the market.
    In this talk, it will be carried out a very practical explanatory tour throughout the process of designing, developing and validating the NVH performance of a vehicle; it will be shown the test & study techniques used, it will be analyzed real practical cases as well as the typical requirements of noise and vibration in the automotive world to understand firsthand how is the day-to-day life of a Design & Test NVH Engineer.
  • About the speaker: Carles Martrat is an Industrial Engineer (ETSEIB) with seven years of experience in the vibroacoustic discipline. He started his career working in ALSTOM as a Design & Test acoustic engineer and moved to NISSAN 3 years and a half ago, where today he is responsible for the Exterior Noise & AVAS Performances of all NISSAN’S European projects.
